General Market

• Past Present Future. The history on how we got to this point and why carbon matters. A review of the current market situation both abroad and local. Review current and upcoming framework for low carbon building development.

Heating

• A review of different low carbon strategies to provide heat and domestic water for facilities. The presentation will discuss heat pump technology and it’s limits for air and water cooled plants, biomass VRF and electric boilers.

Filtration

• Advances in electronic filtration allow for lower ventilation rates to be used in facilities, reducing both cost and energy consumption. We will review filtration technology and it’s application in facilities.

Ventilation Energy Recovery

• A review of current codes and energy recovery technologies that meet standards. Important design considerations such as cross leakage and frost protection in cold ambient conditions.
